I have been a research fellow at the CONNECT Centre for Future Networks at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, since May 2015. Prior to that I was an ERCIM postdoctoral research fellow at the Decisions, Networks and Analytics lab (DNA) of the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) in Stockholm, Sweden. I received my Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Vienna, Austria, in April 2014. My doctoral studies were concerned with modeling wireless user mobility representatively and utilizing mobility patterns for infrastructure-less networking. As part of my doctoral studies I was a visiting researcher at Aalto University, Finland.

My current research interests are centered around wireless self-organizing networks; including realistic mobility and modeling, adaptive resource management, and infrastructure crowdsourcing.
