I have been a research fellow at the CONNECT Centre for Future Networks at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, since May 2015. Prior to that I held an ERCIM postdoctoral data scientist position at the Decisions, Networks and Analytics lab of SICS in Stockholm, Sweden. I received my Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Vienna, Austria, in April 2014. My doctoral studies were concerned with modeling wireless user mobility representatively and utilizing mobility patterns for infrastructure-less networking. As part of my doctoral studies I was a visiting researcher at Aalto University, Finland. My current research interests are centered around wireless self-organizing networks; including realistic user behavior modeling.
